In October 2014, Dai Fan presented his new architectural concept work "Space, Time and Transcendence" at the Symbiosis International Architectural Exhibition "Hollow Orchid-Datong Garden in Shanxi Province of China". He also participated in the exhibition with internationally active architects such as Zaha Hadid of England, Blue Sky Group of Austria, Isaki New of Japan and Richard Mayer Architecture Firm of the United States. Fan's works express the architectural space philosophy of oviposition. Everything in space is produced in an oval. The egg is chaotic, clouded with grey clouds, a mass of atmosphere or a state of birth. It reflects the characteristics of Chinese time and space turning back and forth.
Dai Fan's latest architectural work "Hollow Orchid - Datong Garden in Shanxi Province of China" will be presented at the Architectural Design Exhibition of "Building-Building China" in Lyon, France, in December 2014. In "Hollow Orchid - Datong Garden in Shanxi Province of China", Dai Fan stitches the avant-garde architectural structure concept with magical fantasy, blurring reality and dream. Dai Fan is not a simple successor, but a recreation with new ideas and his personal experience and imagination. He is not good at emulating but a self-made model. He individually uses his experience and ultimately transcends the rules. The courage to move against the current makes his architecture possess an avant-garde and deep character. Dai Fan believes that great architecture is a state of transcendence based on individual experience. The works embody the richness of the spiritual world, which corresponds to the diversity and richness of the "image" of architecture. Datong Garden in Shanxi contains complex and abundant architectural experiments. Dai Fan invented many new architectural languages and structures.
